Tomorrow, Thursday, is the feast of the Ascension.

Here in Rochester, the feast is still celebrated on Thursday, rather than transferred to Sunday. It also means that Easter is coming to a close, and we are anticipating Pentecost the following Sunday:  Red vestments instead of White and Gold, a return to the Asperges me rather than the Vidi aquam, and all the rest.  How the time has gone!
