Interested in being a lay Dominican?

posted Nov 9, 2014, 3:27 PM by Rochester Ordinariate
A group is forming in Rochester.

Members of the Fraternities of St. Dominic are lay men and women who are fully incorporated members of the Order of Preachers and live out their Dominican vocation in the world.  Through the Four Pillars of prayer, study, community, and apostolate we work to preach the Gospel and grow in personal holiness.  You can learn more about the Lay Dominican life at www.3op.org

For the last year, a small group of people discerning the call to the Lay Dominican vocation has been meeting monthly, praying the Rosary, the Hours, and studying Magisterial documents.  Soon we will begin our study as postulants.  We are looking for other people who are interested in joining us.  Our next monthly meeting will be held on Sunday, 11/16 from 3-5 at St Thomas More.  For more information, please contact Mary Anderson: marymattie@yahoo.com or 377-2672.
