St. Alban, patronal feast day (observed)
Lady Chapel, in the east end of the church
Mass, in the Ordinariate's use of the Roman Rite [Anglican Use].

On Saturday, we celebrate our patronal feast day of St. Alban - all are welcome to join us for mass.

Owing to a schedule conflict with Good Shepherd, we will have our mass at St. Thomas.  We wish to thank Fr. Bonsignore for letting us celebrate our mass there, and the diocese for their constant support, especially Bishop Matano and Fr. Condon.  Directions to the church are given in the link.

The priest for the mass will be Fr. Jason Catania.

Our music director, Aaron James has put together some wonderful hymns for St. Alban's day, as well as organized a mass setting composed by the prolific church musician Herbert Howells

Music for the day:
Mass Setting: Missa "Collegium Regale" (Herbert Howells)

Organ prelude: Psalm Prelude, set 2, no. 2 (Herbert Howells)
Opening hymn: in insert "Alban, high in glory shining" (Abbot's Leigh)
Offertory hymn: 126 "For all the saints" (Sine nomine)
Communion motet: O how glorious (Healey Willan)
Recessional hymn: in insert "Laud the grace of God victorious" (Regent Square)
Organ postlude: Aeterna Christi munera (Healey Willan)

Minor propers from the Anglican Use Gradual.

Please join us to celebrate our feast day!

Update:  We are pleased to welcome
Käthe Wright Kaufman, Amanda Mole, Isobel Davies, Thatcher Lyman, David Klosterman, Matthew Walter, and Aaron James as our choir to sing the Howells mass setting!
