Sundry updates

We had a wonderful mass on Saturday evening.  Many thanks to Fr. Catania for coming to us from Canada.  Several friends of Helen Scott also came to pray for her.  Thanks to Bernie for the photo on the right.  Fr. Catania worked hard getting our acolytes tuned up on the rubrics.

We have had lots of news from our friends and members.  Dan and Justine's baby, Joseph Marinus, was born April 24, and everyone is doing well.  Many congratulations to them.

Denise had a very serious back surgery that took much longer than anticipated.  Please remember her and her family in your prayers.

The Jordan's daughter Catherine, had her first communion yesterday.

For those of you who look at blogs, Fr. Hunwicke's is undoubtedly the best.  He has consistently learned, entertaining, and trenchant stuff every day.

In our Letters and Articles section, there is a good one for May Day, or Pip n' Jim day.

Today he has the continuation of an article on Liberation Theology II that is really good, following Liberation Theology I.
