A word of thanks goes out to the many people that made yesterday's confirmation mass and reception possible.

Thanks be to God for his many blessings upon us.

Thanks to pope Benedict XVI for the gift of the Ordinariate.

Thanks to Msgr. Steenson for his help and leadership.

Thanks to the diocese of Rochester for their help and kindness, especially Fr. Condon as well as Fr. Hart, who came to greet us and Fr. Hurd yesterday.

Thanks to the parish of St. Marianne Cope and the church of Good Shepherd for their hospitality.

Thanks to Fr. Hurd, vicar general of the Ordinariate for spending time with us Saturday and Sunday, for talking with us, for praying morning prayer and saying mass, and for receiving and confirming the members of the Fellowship of St. Alban.

Thanks to those who have been working towards this time for the past three years, if not more, especially those received and confirmed as part of the Catholic Church yesterday.

Thanks to John Cornelius for meeting with us these past months, and for leading our group.

Thanks to those who contributed to the organization of Sunday's beautiful mass:  to Rob, our organist, to Fr. Hurd who celebrated mass, to the acolytes and readers, and to our dedicated members who prepared a wonderful reception afterwards.

Thanks to our family, friends, and the many good people who came to celebrate yesterday's milestone with us.

Thanks to all those I have forgotten to mention.

There were plenty of pictures taken, parts of the service were filmed, and I believe a Catholic Courier story should be forthcoming, so there will be plenty more to come on this site about Sunday's events.
