A note from our friend Joel Morehouse:

Good afternoon, friends,

Are you interested in Gregorian Chant?

I would like to invite you, your scholas, your choirs and your friends to join me for a Gregorian Chant Gathering, Saturday, October 12, 2:00-6:30pm at Saint Mary's Church in Auburn, NY.www.stmarysauburn.org

The purpose of the event is threefold:

Social: Meet other folks in Upstate NY who are interested in Gregorian Chant and plainsong. See how other parishes are incorporating chant into their liturgies.

Educational: Grow your understanding of chant and liturgy. The following Workshops will be available: Chant and the Liturgy with Fr. Frank Lioi, Adventurous Chanting with Joel Morehouse, and an Organ Accompaniment Masterclass with Aaron James. Chant resources and books will also be available for purchase.

Liturgical: Participate in a Solemn Mass with Gregorian chant and two historic pipe organs at 5:30pm at Saint Mary's Church, Auburn.

Please RSVP to me by Saturday, October 5, if you intend to attend.

The event is free but freewill offerings will be accepted. Please print and post the attached poster.

Thank you!
